But you're right, I should test adhesives before creating some composition that I might actually like and be disappointed to lose.

Thanks!Kim B.http://sassiland.typepad.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5053233671037217868.post-4958954060738980972009-09-17T09:35:55.628-07:002009-09-17T09:35:55.628-07:00Hey Kim,

I laid it out for fun on a big cutting board and took a photo.

BUT i'm sure you could find a board you liked and just glue the corks on? I suppose I would test a few different adhesives before I did the entire heart because how annoying would that be if you went to all the trouble to make it permanent and then the corks popped off?

Thanks for the comment!kristinahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12291233186222706297noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5053233671037217868.post-84216208568467913892009-09-17T08:38:42.727-07:002009-09-17T08:38:42.727-07:00These are so beautiful. I.E. did you affix the corks to a base, or just to each other; did you use wood glue or some type of pins?

It is so gorgeous and simple at the same time -- I'd like to make one as a housewarming gift for friends of ours.

Love your blog!Kim B.http://sassiland.typepad.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5053233671037217868.post-44444001593354734022009-09-11T12:52:23.200-07:002009-09-11T12:52:23.200-07:00this is such an adorable blog.this is such an adorable blog.minahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10353187576456219127noreply@blogger.com
