i feel a gocco project coming on...

COASTERS. Can't live without. can. not. Here's my preliminary design. Planning to Gocco, because it's so satisfying to really do it yourself. AND I've already ordered 300 blank coasters, thanks to a most excellent tip from Kate over at Kids and Cocktails.

But, I'm going to admit it... I also just asked for a quote from Aardvark to have them letterpressed. It's just that it's so EASY when they do it. And so much fancier. Don't you love letterpressed coasters? I have a whole collection of them from Sesame. Heart.

  1. I LOVE LOVE letterpress coasters. I would totally do that. If I had my press already, I'd do them for you! I'm glad you got the coasters. Wasn't she easy to buy from?

  4. er... letterpress costers are lovely, and good for collecting, or putting under glass and using. But at your wedding? People will be way to busy drinking and toasting to notice. They will take one second to notice your gocco printed ones and think "oohhhh pretty. Girl is talented. Mmm. I need another drink."

So... go for it with your crafty self.

  6. lovely but less expensive it is! letterpress quote was WAAAAAY more than i need/want to spend on coasters for our wedding. so we all know what my weekend project is going to be.

nice call meg, queen of practicality. you're right, people will be more interested in the drinky-drinks than the printing process.

  7. Did you use a software to come up with the design? I'm a diy bride myself and trying to find as many ideas and sources as possible.
