a sitting room...

full of sunshine and succulents. Wouldn't you die to have one?



From Melanie's dear friend Kate's house (her mom's house actually), an insanely beautiful, special, walk-around-with-jaw-on-the-floor type of California craftsman in Hollywood.

This sunroom used to be a porch on the second floor but some time in it's history, was enclosed and turned in a perfect home for books and plants and afternoon readers.

I wish I had a better picture, but alas...

    Better picture? This is beautiful. I wish wish wish I had a room like that! The windows and that rocker are what really got me... ;)

    nope, that picture says it all. and, it's making me look around my shoe box apartment and think, "^$%*&# *@%#^ ^%**@^!!!".

    oooooh I love succulents ... unfortunately my boyfriend insists I'm a plant killer and refuses to let me keep any more plants in the apartment ... which means, I'll probably just sneak out and get one anyway!

    oh, lovely morning...will we ever see details of the saturday shower?? we saw the invites, and the menu prep, and the rentals. we heard all. about. those. chickens. now no love for the final product?? i know preparing for party is half the fun, but please share some snaps of the fruits of your work!

    yes yes love these kinds fo rooms! jsut looking at it convinces me I would be so much more relaxed if I had a room like this to sit, read and write in :)
