One good thing has come out of eliminating cow's milk from my diet. I discovered the sublime deliciousness of Bellwether Farms sheep's milk yogurt. Vanilla. I've always WANTED to buy it because I like the farm's name and the little container is cute, but sheep's milk yogurt? I love sheep's milk cheese, but I was afraid the yogurt would taste like a barnyard.
It's pretty amazing. And do you see the actual little flecks of vanilla bean in there? It's rich and a little sour, almost like creme fraiche in a way, but then sweet and vanilla-y too. You must try.

Wow, that looks divine. And the packaging is just pretty!
Will have to try that...have you ever tried goat yogurt?Whole Foods has a good one from Redwood Hills Farm. A great option as well. The flavored yogurts are flavored with either honey, fruit juice or pure maple syrup. I do plain and add fruit:)
I mean they're 'sweetened' with honey, maple syrup or fruit juice. Oops.
i've been having a major love affair with this yogurt for the past couple of years. i'm a big fan of the blueberry.
That looks delicious! Too bad that brand isn't available in NYC. I'll have to look for another brand of sheep's milk yoghurt, though!
Ooo this just looks delicious! And I don't even like Vanilla!
This is by far my favorite yogurt!! Incredible!
Ooh,sounds great!I already eat goat's milk yogurt, but I'd like to try this.I've had coconut milk yogurt,as well. Now I'll just have to figure out how to get it.....
The blackberry one is unreal. Ever since I've had this I've been searching for sheep's milk so I could make my own yogurt, but sheep's milk is even harder to find than this yogurt.
I've read about this company before. They seem like a pretty amazing group of people. I'll have to try it.

I'd love to try the sheep's milk yogurt. But I guess it is impossiple here where live. Oh United States... I miss you so much.
oh la la! i've never had sheep's milk cheese. i did that swiss bio diet a few years ago* and had to eliminate cows milk, so i tried goat yogurt but found that it tasted too strongly of cheese for me.
if you're still trying alternatives, i really recommend water buffalo yogurt- i think it is the closest to real milk taste :)
