Made by dear friend Carol.
Meyer lemon blueberry. Yum. I looooove love love The Cheeseboard and Carol has a special way with all things relating to flour and butter and sweetness. She's the baker behind our wedding cake, which was absolutely delicious, even after a year in the freezer.
I'd also like to report that despite a rather trying day of fussy baby and exhausted mama, I managed to make dinner for the first time in four weeks. Which is a serious testament to how awesome our friends have been about making sure we're well taken care of. I'm going to echo Jora's rec when I say, if people want to bring you food, LET THEM. We're now going to dip into our freezer reserves that I stocked up before Dashiell was born. And hopefully by the time those run out, things will be a little more settled around here. If not, there's always more take out.

This looks like my perfect morning!! I can't say it enough but your photos are beautiful!! xo
That scone looks amazing! I plan to make them tonight.
I echo Caroline's thoughts. I adore your photos and blog! Your updates make my day :) They are the source of many a inspiration.
You're a ROCK STAR. One of my best ya-yas had a Baby Xavier the same week you had a Baby Dash, and so I'm learning just how hard and exhausting it really is. So, impressive: you made dinner. And delicious: that scone.
Also, loved Rachel's guest-posts on 100LC. Isn't she the bombest?
So glad to hear your friends and family are taking good care of you! If I were closer, I'd bring you a big pot of minestrone and a strawberry rhubarb crisp.
beautiful photos! and i totally agree -- let people bring you food! they totally care for you & it's so loving to accept their service :]
