the daily routine, 6 months

Here's how I generally find Dashiell when he's woken up from his nap:

And that's after at least 10 minutes of talking to himself.

Then we go into the living room and I feed him. (No pictures of this, for obvious reasons).

And then he scoots around the floor, playing with my iPhone, the remote control, and various other favorites. He's very interested in crawling these days.

Sitting he's already mastered. Isn't he a good poser?

I think I might be really posting these photos because I love his rainbow tshirt and new orange fuzzi bunz. It's more satisfying than I anticipated to dress him. I'll admit that.

You guys are too nice! Seriously, we haven't gone a day in months without someone telling us he looks like the gerber baby. I even had a woman at the grocery store, in semi-broken english tell me that he "looka like da baby on, you know, da baby jars". Haaa. Maybe gerber wants to pay for his college education in return for a few photoshoots?

@laura - I'm half SAHM, half work from home mom. We have someone who comes to the house a few days a week so I can do a little freelance and work on 100 Layer Cake. It seems to be a good balance!

@Meg - Probs not blogging... but definitely taking videos of the rug.

I NEEED to know where you got that gorgeous rainbow shirt? For my daughter's birthday this year the theme is rainbows at Corvette Diner. Thanks in advance:)

@Kelsey + Malia - I know. The rainbow shirt is too much to bear, isn't it? Sadly I got it at a consignment store so I think your chances of finding another are slim. But it's C&C California if you feel like scouring the internets.
