family pictures

Getting family pictures taken feels like a milestone. Or no, maybe that this whole thing is very real and very normal and very amazing.

Jen Rau came over again and this time took pictures of Dashiell outside the belly (as opposed to our first session). Much cuter if you ask me:

Yes, I'm still wearing the same dress, not pregnant. But for the record it's not technically a maternity dress so I'm going with it. Plus it fits. GAAAAAAHHH, losing pregnancy weight is sucking. I digress.

She posted a few more on her blog too. We almost didn't do it, the professional photos thing... but again, so glad we did.

Thank you again Jen!

I love them! And I kind of think he looks just like you.

And where is the dress from? I am completely and hopelessly in love with it.

I usually gravitate towards b/w images, but the colors are just as fabulous! What a LOVELY and VERY handsome/beautiful family!

Ok, ok, I admit it. This has been minimized on my computer all day, so I could just open it up real quick to get the cuteness whenever I needed a little break.

awww thanks you guys.

peonies - dress is from barneys (on super sale), but I bought it last summer so doubt it's still around. Was an excellent early maternity purchase!

The french - sometimes I can't stand it. :)

christina - do it! I did the same. I had like 5 maxi dresses that I rotated through. And twill be easier for you because you will be huge in the summer.

meg - it's time. you must have your own babe so you can stare at him/her all day.

Your family is beautiful! And don't worry about the baby weight- it feels like it won't ever go away, and then when you finally forget about it, it goes away! :)

First, I have to say the obvious...so cute. Second, baby weight? Whatever, you look amazing. Those skinny clothes will wait. Buy yourself something nice that fits and relax. Third, I only say this about the weight because I need to hear it myself from time to time.
