speaking of groovy 70's weddings...

I present, my parents:

brown tuxedos, anyone?

This was actually my first wedding. My mom's bouquet and high-waisted dress are just hiding me. :)

31 years and counting...

that is so awesome! I actually LOVE her bridesmaid dresses. This wedding is not half as bad as some 70's weddings I've seen. Kudos to your mom!

Her 'maids dresses aren't too 70's.but her dress (I love the low neckline with a lace turtleneck underneath!?!) and their hair styles are all about the 70's goodness.

I love '70s spectacular weddings. Our mom's dresses are eerily similar, too... this has me itching to scan in those old photos I have lying around. :-) Thanks for sharing!

Wow, my parents wedding is nearly identical... but my mom wore a huge lacy hat! Lol, I can't wait to hear what my kids think of my wedding ;)

I'm pretty sure that my dad and your dad got their brown tuxes at exact same place on the exact same day. But at least your dad skipped the requisite shaggy brown mustache to match! My father is immortalized in time looking like there is a squirrel nesting on his upper lip...

Will our children look back on our wedding photos and laugh at what we were wearing? Probably...

ha my parents wedding was my first trip down the aisle too :) Luckily for her the dress was slimming. I didn't even know until I was in high school, and even then, it was my friend who figured it out! She was all "Wait, it's your parents 16th wedding anniversary? and you turn 16 in how many months? umm... Heather... haha
